Your teeth move throughout your life. This is as inevitable as wrinkles and is a sign of ageing.

So that the result obtained at the end of the treatment remains stable, a retainer wire will be fixed in place on the inside of your front teeth during your last appointment.

This very fine wire will not bother you and is not visible (as it is inside your teeth). It is positioned in such a way so that you can still use dental floss. It must remain in place for the rest of your life.

We will also give you a retainer brace at the end of your treatment. You will only need to wear it at night if the retainer wire breaks, until we replace it with a new wire.
